I've always had a soft spot for throwback pop-rock (some say PowerPop) songs that have a bit of cheese sprinkled on top, so I guess that "Heartbreaker" is my take on that style. This song is about a relationship in which both people make each other miserable but they can’t find a way to end it.

I'm not sure what inspired this one… it came on the guitar and came quickly and seemingly out of nowhere. As with all of the songs on my album, I played, recorded and mixed all of the parts in my house.
