Background Information
Like many people, I’ve always loved this Paul Simon (recorded by Simon & Garfunkel) song and felt a connection to it. I originally recorded a version of it in 2014, when I was using the rudimentary equipment that I had to create music in my garage for my own entertainment. I wanted to re-record it now with the better equipment (and knowledge) that I have and it seemed to fit in with the other songs that ended up in this collection. Coming up with and recording the guitar part at the end of the song was a feeling of overwhelming joy.
